Thc owncr does not havc a copy of the original sprinkler <br /> dra�vings for the building and it appcars to be an old pipe schedulc sprinkler system. Wc <br /> havc used thc pipc schedule system for thc tenant improvemenLs that we have done up to <br /> lhis point in time. <br /> The work thal has becn done by our company has hcen to add sprinklcrs in the basement <br /> arca and to remove anJ install upright sprinklers on the first floor NW office space. The <br /> acouslic cciling had becn rcmoved in the NW comer of 15' tloor ofTice space. We didn't <br /> necd!o add any new sprinklers to this arca the pendant sprinklers (10)were removed �nd <br /> upright covcragc was installcd;t thc corrcct cciling hcight to givc proper covcragc for <br /> the currcnt office conditions. <br /> Thc bascment in lhc Soulh Gast corncr that is uscd for officc fumiture storagc/restoration <br /> nccded to have 20 sprinklers addcd to cov�r this space. We tied onto the 3"pipe in U�e <br /> arca and cxtcnded thc I'ced main and ran thc new branch lines. Using schedulc 10 feed <br /> main and schcdulc 40 thrcad ablc pipc for thc branch lincs. As thc spacc camc availablc <br /> wc installcd upright sprinklers in lhe existing hallways in the basem�nt. Work on thr. <br /> basement Ic��cl that was also nceded and done was to re-hang the existing branch lines in <br /> thc South Cast garagc lcnant spacc. 'l�hc sprinklcr covcrage was cxtendcd for the <br /> restroom anJ the stuinvcll that tics into thc I5� Ooor. 'Thcre is one sprinklen c�ad thal <br /> necds to Uc addcd for thc old vault arca thal is currenUy being used for matcrial storage <br /> consisting of miscellaneous elcctrical items and tools. This wall will nced to be corc <br /> drilled and onc head added to covcr the space. 7'he garage space on ilie North East sidc <br /> of the building did not need any sprinkler coverage added at this point in time. However <br /> sincc thcre���as no Auxiliary drain on thc sprinklcr system we installed a��alvc and plug <br /> to hclp drain thc system whcn ncedcd. 'Iliis val��c is locatcd in thc NB comer of the spacc <br /> ncxt to thc garagc door so that thc systcm can bc Jraincd into the allcy storm drain. <br /> � <br />
