• <br /> November 27, 2019 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Members <br /> Roberts, Vogeli, and Stonecipher who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> ACTION ITEMS: <br /> AGREEMENT AMENDED— BASIC LIFE SUPPORT AMBULANCE SERVICES <br /> Moved by Council Member Moore, seconded by Council Member Tuohy to <br /> authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to the contract for Basic Life <br /> Support Ambulance Services between the City of Everett and NW Ambulance. <br /> Council Member Murphy stated he received an email from another ambulance <br /> service, American Medical Response, and wished to table this agreement to get <br /> more information on a potential public bid process. <br /> Considerable discussion ensued regarding the financial amendments to the <br /> contract, the time extension on the contract, and a public bid process. • <br /> Mike Andrews and KC McCoy, of American Medical Response, encouraged Council <br /> to oppose the proposed agreement and encouraged a public bid process. <br /> Council Member Murphy asked if it was possible to terminate the current contract <br /> early. <br /> David Hall, City Attorney, stated he would get back to Council with that <br /> information. <br /> Moved by Council Member Murphy, seconded by Council Member Moore to <br /> table action on this agreement in order to consider a public bid process and for <br /> further discussion. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except President Bader who <br /> voted no, and Council Members Roberts, Vogeli, and Stonecipher who were <br /> excused. <br /> • <br /> 358 <br />
