November 13, 2019 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., <br /> November 13, 2019, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. Moore Historic <br /> City Hall, Council President Bader presiding. Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor <br /> Franklin and Council Members Roberts, Moore, Murphy, Vogeli, Bader, <br /> Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br /> Council Member Murphy led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the November 6, 2019, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Franklin reported on her attendance in meetings on the East Coast last <br /> week. She stated that while in Washington, D.C., she had an opportunity to meet <br /> with Senators, the Pentagon, Department of Justice, and the White House on <br /> Opportunity Zones. She also reported on her attendance at the Mayor's Institute <br /> on City Design, which was held in Richmond, Virginia. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Vogeli announced that today is "World Kindness Day." <br /> Council Member Roberts commented on a follow-up memo to earlier transit <br /> service discussions, that he distributed to council members this week. <br /> President Bader stated a Council workshop is currently scheduled for December 4. <br /> Council Member Tuohy reported that the Evergreen Branch Library is set to <br /> officially reopen on December 6 at 2 p.m. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher reported on the Public Safety Subcommittee <br /> meeting that was held earlier this evening. <br /> 337 <br />
