The County Council with proceeds of the bond sale. One of the projects included Senator Henry M. Jackson Park. The proposed Interlocal Agreement will provide up to $75,000 in matching funds to assist in the installation of a new playground as part of the redevelopment of the neighborhood portion of Senator Henry M. Jackson Park that will occur during the next 30 months. The County will match, dollar for dollar,the cost to design, acquire, and install new playground equipment up to a maximum of$75,000. This match will be on a cost- reimbursement basis. In recognition of this partnership,the Interlocal Agreement stipulates that the City will 1) install a plaque at the park recognizing Snohomish County as a financial sponsor of the playground;and 2)recognize Snohomish County as a financial sponsor in City promotional material related to the playground. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the Interlocal Agreement with Snohomish County for Park Project Funding for Senator Henry M. Jackson Park. 29
