• <br /> Amendment Agreement Description <br /> 2 <br /> Project Sponsor: Everett Parks & Rec Dept Project Number: 79-011 D <br /> Project Title: Sullivan Park#2 Amendment Number: 4 <br /> Agreement Description • <br /> ORIGINAL AGREEMENT DESCRIPTION <br /> Phase 2 redevelopment of an existing 8 acre area for water oriented recreation activities within a 57.year old park site. This <br /> phase will complete the underground utility systems, add one restroom facility, boat dock, asphalt paths,two-day camp <br /> shelters and provide area lighting along selected trails and other required areas for safety. <br /> AMENDMENT#4 <br /> The City of Everett used this grant to develop Thornton A. Sullivan Park located east of 1-5 on 112th St. SE. The primary <br /> recreation opportunities at this park are related to accessing Silver Lake for swimming, boating, and fishing. <br /> Amendment#4 to this project agreement approves conversion of a portion of Thornton A. Sullivan park totalling 1.67 acres to <br /> non-recreational use. The conversion was reviewed and recommended by the Recreation and Conservation Funding Board <br /> at its meeting on June 23, 2011. The conversion was approved by the National Park Service on June 25, 2013 as reflected in <br /> Amendment#11 to NPS project agreement#53-00411-I. <br /> • <br /> The remaining area at Thornton A. Sullivan Park protected by the 6(f) boundary is 23.7 acres as depicted on the 6(f)boundary <br /> map signed by the City of Everett on February 20, 2013 and the Recreation and Conservation Office on April 3,2013. The <br /> replacement property is 3.55 acres at Bruskrud Road and is depicted on the 6(f) boundary map signed by the City of Everett <br /> on February 20,2013 and the Recreation and Conservation Office on April 3, 2013.
