The Library Department and Facilities Department has chosen Dykeman to provide design and architectural services from the MRSC Roster due to their past experience with the building. The total cost for the.design and architectural services is$6,150 Funding for the design and architectural services shall come from the 2013 Library Operating Budget. The deadline for the design and architectural services effort is December 31,2013 The estimate for the construction of the remodel is $60,000. Funding for the construction of the remodel shall come from a variety of funding sources including the Library Endowment Fund. Construction is slated for 2014. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign a Professional Services Agreement with Dykeman for the Main Library—Quiet Room Remodel Project in the amount of$6,150.00. 57
