John
From: Camie Anderson [mailto:canderson@shockeybrent.com]
Sent: Friday, January 12, 2007 2:28 PM
To: John Jimerson; Gerry Ervine
Subject: Everett School District Transportation Facility
John and Gerry,
I am writing to follow up on a bill that the Everett School District received from the City regarding transportation
impact fees for their transportation site out on 80th Street SW. In our SEPA checklist and the traffic study that
was prepared by Gibson Traffic Consultants, we had listed the fees as$30,180, based on 30 trips at$1,006 per
trip. Under the"Information for the Developer in the Planned Action Determination(`;EPA06-012), the amount of
the Traffic Mitigation Fees were listed as$41,560 in accordance with the City of Everett Traffic Mitigation
Ordinance. I can't find any record in my file, nor do I remember ever having discussions with the City regarding
the increase of the traffic mitigation fees above what was in the traffic report and our SEPA checklist. The District
was not anticipating this extra$10,000 cost to the project.
Thanks.
Camie Anderson
Senior Planner
Shockey/Brent, Inc.
2716 Colby Avenue
Everett, WA 98201
P: 425 258.9308
F: 425.259.4448
2115"007
