6 <br /> vEreETT <br /> Resolution No. <br /> A Resolution accepting the 10 percent petition <br /> and authorizing submittal of the 60 percent petition <br /> for the Holdeman Annexation <br /> WHEREAS,The City of Everett has received a 10 percent petition and Notice of Intent for an annexation <br /> meeting the requirements of RCW 35.13.125,and <br /> WHEREAS,The City of Everett has a desire t work with citizen adjacent to Everett in unincorporated <br /> Snohomish County to become part of the City of Everett, and <br /> WHEREAS,the area proposed for annexation is within the Urban Growth Boundary established by <br /> Snohomish County and along a State Highway; and <br /> NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> 1. The City of Everett wishes to accept the 10 percent petition for the proposed annexation and authorize <br /> the signature collection for the 60%petition. <br /> 2. The City of Everett will require the simultaneous implementation of the Comprehensive Plan <br /> designation by adoption of the implementing zoning for the annexation area. <br /> 3.
