Through this funding,the Seattle Police Department has <br /> designated a portion of the award for two boat lifts to the Everett Police Department, one each for the Police <br /> Patrol SAFE Boat and RIB Boat. The Seattle Police Department will purchase the two boat lifts and hand <br /> receipt them to the Everett Police Department upon approval. The Everett Police Department will be <br /> responsible for maintenance,training,and proper storage of the equipment. The equipment will also be <br /> available for audit/inspection upon request by the grantor. The acquisition of the two boat lifts will extend <br /> the service life of both vessels and reduce maintenance costs. The total value of the equipment is <br /> $63,769.05. <br /> RECONIlVIENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the necessary documents with the Seattle Police Department to accept <br /> equipment in the amount of$63,769.05 for the FFY11 Port Security Grant Program award. <br /> 57 <br />
