The <br />proposed well locetion is illustrated on the followins site plen. The location of the well <br />muy change somewhat depending on the locations of utilities, etc. <br />'1'he proposed well �•rill require approximatcly four hours to install using a truck-mounted <br />drill rig equipped with hnllow stem augers. The well will be constructed in accordance <br />with thc Minimum Stan iards for Construction and Maintennnce of Wells as outlined in <br />�1'ashington Administra[ive Code (V1'AC) 173-160-500. The well will be cons� acted of 4- <br />inch PVC pipe which will extend Gom the surface to a depth of apprcximately I S feet. <br />The well will be completed flush to the road surface with a traflic rated locking meter box. <br />Periodically thereafter (usually quarterly), the wcll will be monitored and sampled. Upon <br />completion of the project and approval from the Department of Ecolo�,y, tlie well will be <br />abandoned in accordance with applicable laws, ordinances and regulations. 'I'he well <br />loca�' •n will be restored as close es possible to conditions prior to installation. <br />Due to the proposed location, SECOR is prepared to implement a Traffic Control Plnn. <br />Unless othenvise instructed by the city of L•verett, SECOR •h�ill implement appropriate <br />stnndard traffic contml meesures es outlined in cily of Seattle Tra(tic Coatrol Manual for <br />In-Street Work, dated Seprember 1, 19R7 (exnmplc attached). <br />Thunk you fur your attention to this matter.
