Councilman Michelson objected to the co:t of operating this boat and felt it should be done by the Port. Moved by Councilman Gibson, secanded by Councilman Stephanson to adopt Reso lution 2073 as follows : . c; WHEREAS, on or about the 22nd of April, 198i, the City Council authorized � the t�layor to execute an interloca.l agreement with the Port of Everett con- cerning the operation and use of a vessel owned by the Port of Everett for law enforcement purposes; and WHEREAS, during the year 1981 the vessel was successfully operated by the City of Everett Police Department according to the terms of the agreement; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires that such operation and use of the vessel continue in accordance with the terms of t}ie agreement; and � - WHEREAS, the Port of Everett desires continued operation and use of the Por owned vessel in accordance with the terms of the agreement. I� NOW, THEREFORE, DE IT RESOLVED BY T}I� CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT that the interlocal agreement e�ecuted between the Port of F.verett and the . City of Everett concerning the operation and use of a Port of Everett' s vessel for law enforcement purposes is hereby ratified.
