January 22, 2014 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 12:30 p.m., January 22, 2014 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett <br /> City Hall, President Moore presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, Murphy, <br /> Bader, and Anderson were present. Council Members Gipson and <br /> Stonecipher were excused. <br /> Council Member Anderson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the January 15, 2014 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. <br /> Council Member Moore spoke regarding a proposed item for next week's <br /> agenda. He stated that the attendance at the city council's day meetings <br /> has been fairly low. He remarked that there has been informal discussion <br /> regarding moving the fourth meeting of the month to a night meeting, and <br /> suggested that the council members make comments or requests for <br /> additional information related to this item during council comments. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts stated that he continues to raise issues <br /> regarding funding for transportation and that he will be meeting with <br /> PSRC representatives later today. <br /> Council Member Murphy requested attendance history on night meetings <br /> versus day meetings. <br /> The council members expressed that they are open to discussion <br /> regarding the proposed change to meeting times. <br /> Council President Moore stated that there has been concurrence that <br /> video recording of the Planning Commission meetings is important to <br /> 11 <br />
