These comments <br /> address building issues only, additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments <br /> (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 1991 Uniform Building Code, as <br /> amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1991, 2nd Edition, unless <br /> stated othenvise. <br /> 1. The ramp from the sidewalk to the main entrance must have a 5'-0" landing at the top before <br /> entering the building, Section 3106(h)4 and Section 3304(i). <br /> The slope of this ramp also requires handrails, Section 3106(h)5. <br /> An electronic device to open the entry door located at the bottom of the ramp, timed to allow <br /> access prior to the door closing, would be an acceptable alternative to providing a landing. If you <br /> elect to provide this altemative, please provide manufacturer's information for the door operator. <br /> 2. Safety glazing is required adjacent to and within 24 inches of the entry door. <br /> 3. Please provide lighting power budget calculations. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building <br /> Division with two complete new sets of drawings reFlecting the corrections requested. <br /> Upon resubmittal of the drawings, your application will be given priority and plan review <br /> recommence. <br /> All required submittals shall be uf sufficient detail and contain sufficient information to ensure that the <br /> proposed structure will be constructeci in compliance with all adopted eodes. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Z' � <br /> S.
