Attachment A <br /> Everett Station District Business Improvement Area (BIA) <br /> PROGRAM ACTIVITIES <br /> As specified in Ordinance No.3 714,1pecial Assessment revenues shall be used for the <br /> authorized purposes pursuant to RCW 35.87A.010,which includes: <br /> A. The acquisition, construction or maintenance of parking facilities for the benefit of <br /> the area; <br /> B. Decoration of any public place in the area; <br /> C. Sponsorship or promotion of public events which are to take place on or in public <br /> places in the area; <br /> D. Furnishing of music in any public place in the area; <br /> E. Providing professional management, planning, and promotion for the area, <br /> including the management and promotion of retail trade activities in the area; <br /> F. Providing maintenance and security for common, public areas; and <br /> G. Providing transportation services for the benefit of the area. <br /> These authorized uses are a recitation of the authorized purposes listed in RCW <br /> 35.87A.010. <br /> As budgeted for 2020, the planned programs and services are focused on safety, cleaning, <br /> parking and infrastructure advocacy, and business and economic development. <br /> All activities are supplemental to the street maintenance, law enforcement, land use <br /> planning, citywide marketing, and other services provided by the City and are not intended <br /> to displace any services regularly provided by municipal government. <br /> E 2019 RESOLUTION: Everett Station District BIA Page 4 of 6 <br />
