FY 2013 BVP funds became available earlier this year for purchase of compliant armored <br /> vests ordered on or after April 1,2013. Upon approval,the Everett Police Department will submit for <br /> funding to cover the maximum of fifty percent of the cost of 50 National Institute of Justice compliant vests. <br /> The total cost of the 50 vests is $37,569.00;therefore,the EPD applied for$18,784.50.
