1
Exhibit A
Clearview Pump Station / City of Everett Data Sharing
This is to describe methods and data to be shared between CVPS and COE.
Method
Establish communications between COE RTU and CVPS System..This can be accomplished
at CVPS between RTU's at that site via an agreed upon method that is reliable and secure for
both parties.
• Method 1: Via Hardwire signaling between devices, example PLC output to PLC input.
• Method 2: Via Data block transmission through a secured serial port server (Lantronix)
(MODBUS Register blocks exchange on comm.server and no direct access to network
or PLC registers).
Method 1 is preferred.
Data update frequency shall be determined by normal SCADA system transmission methods
and is dependent on 3rd party communications lines. Scan time will be as fast as media can
provide for reliable transmission.
Data from Clearview Pump Station to COE
Discrete Signals (Method 1)
1. Check valve ZAC-702,85 or position switch bypass valve closed (not) ZAC-703,87
2. Pump 1 run YI-100
3. Pump 2 run YI-200
4. Pump 3 run YI-300
5. Pump 4 run YI-400
6. Pump 5 run YI-500
7. CVPS FQ707 inlet meter pulse
8. CVPS Station power status: online or offline
Analog Data Signals (Method 1)
1. CVPS Station flow rate FIT707 (Inlet meter)
2. CV Reservoir#1 L1-101 •
3. CV Reservoir#2 L1-102
Digital Signals (Method 2)
1.
