The Agreement provides the City up to $50,000 for the replacement of the playground at Hannabrook Park, located in the View Ridge/Madison neighborhood. The funding partnership with the County is based on a 50/50 match requirement. Based upon similar playgrounds within the Everett Parks and Recreation system, the total cost of the playground replacement project is budgeted at$100,000. The proposed ordinance will provide$50,000 that will be matched,dollar for dollar,with Snohomish County funds(for a total of$100,000)to complete the project. RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): Adopt an Ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled"Hannabrook Park Playground Improvements",Fund 354,Program 044 to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. 1
