This resolution authorizes the Mayor to direct City staff to <br /> compromise and settle all reasonable claims arising from the storm events. In particular,this authorization <br /> allows payments,in accordance with the City's claims adjustment processes,of all reasonable and <br /> documented costs associated with the clean-up and repair of property physically damaged by water from <br /> the City's sewer and stormwater system during the storm events, City staff currently estimate the cost of <br /> this resolution to be approximately$3,000,000.However,this estimate may increase. <br /> This amendment is necessary to provide additional budget authority to pay the storm claims.
