9 <br /> EXHIBIT A <br /> Amendment#2 <br /> PROJECT UNDERSTANDING <br /> Perteet has been requested to provide additional planning support associated with the Everett Public Works <br /> Department Preparedness Initiative through December 31,2020. The department has identified opportunities in <br /> their current emergency preparedness planning and desires additional support to implement the planning and <br /> programmatic actions identified within the Gap Analysis and Recommended Actions dated November 27,2017. <br /> GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Perteet will assist the Everett Public Works Department with its emergency preparedness.Perteet's work will be <br /> consistent with FEMA Comprehensive Planning Guide 101 (CPG 101)and the standards of care in the National Fire <br /> Protection Association 1600(NFPA 1600)and include the following activities: <br /> • Continuity of Operations Planning <br /> • Prepare departmental Emergency Response Plans as directed by the City Project Manager. <br /> • Attend Everett Public Works Emergency Preparation Team meetings as requested. <br /> • Additional planning or program development tasks as assigned by the City Project Manager. <br /> DETAILED SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Task 1 — Project Management <br /> • Prepare monthly project reports for billing to include project status and budget reports <br /> • Prepare a Project Work Plan that includes meeting schedule <br /> • Prepare cost estimates for specific assigned tasks as requested by City Project Manager <br /> Task 2—Preparedness Planning Services <br /> • Continuity of Operations <br /> • Perteet will coordinate and assist the Public Works Department's efforts to update specific departmental <br /> and divisional COOP per City Emergency Management requirements. <br /> • Perteet will review the existing COOP and work with City Project Manager to develop two workshops to <br /> review existing data and gather needed information to complete the departmental COOP as directed by <br /> the City Project Manager. <br /> • Emergency Response Plans <br /> • Perteet will work with the City Project Manager to develop planning workshops for those departments <br /> needing assistance completing specific Emergency Response Plans(ERP). <br /> 2 <br /> Ale Location:X:\Everett,City of\Projects\20180018-Evt Preparedness Initiative II\Project Management\Contract <br />
