CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> or City's Representative, the Contractor shall submit a written progress report within five <br /> days following this meeting, comprising: <br /> The current construction schedule indicating percent complete, actual completion or <br /> start dates since the previous review, the estimated remaining duration for each activity <br /> in progress, Schedule of Values update, and narrative summary. <br /> Reasons any activities are behind schedule and the corrective steps being taken. <br /> 1-05.19(3) Cooperation with Others <br /> The Contractor agrees to permit entry to the work site by the City, its employees or other <br /> contractors performing Work on behalf of the City. The Contractor shall afford to the <br /> City, other contractors and their employees, reasonable facilities and cooperation and <br /> arrange its work and dispose of its materials in such a manner as to not interfere with <br /> ' the activities of the City or of others upon the site of Work. The Contractor shall promptly <br /> make good Contractor-caused injury or damage to persons or property that may be <br /> sustained by other contractors or employees of the City. The Contractor shall join its <br /> Work to that of others and perform its Work in proper sequence in relation to that of <br /> others. <br /> If requested by the Contractor, the City will arrange meetings with other contractors <br /> performing Work on behalf of the City to plan coordination of construction activities. The <br /> Contractor shall inform itself of the planned activities of other contractors and will <br /> coordinate its Work with the other contractors. <br /> Contractor shall notify the City of problems, interference or any difficulty with other <br /> contractors or workers engaged by the City. The Notice shall be sufficiently prompt and <br /> specific so as to allow the City to mitigate or avoid increased costs, time of performance, <br /> ' damages or injury. Contractor's failure to provide such Notice in a timely way shall be <br /> deemed a waiver and release of any and all Contract Claims relating to, arising out of, <br /> or caused by, any alleged interference, difficulty or problem with another contractor or <br /> ' worker engaged by the City. <br /> 1-06 CONTROL OF MATERIAL <br /> Supplement Section 1-06 as follows: <br /> ' References to materials shall also mean Contractor furnished Equipment, if any, as specified <br /> in these Special Provisions. <br /> 1-06.1 Approval of Materials Prior to Use <br /> Revise the first paragraph of 1-06.1 to read as follows: <br /> Prior to use, Contractor shall notify the Engineer of all proposed materials. Contractor <br /> may use the Qualified Product List (QPL) and the Aggregate Source Approval (ASA) <br /> Database. Contractor shall use the Request for Approval of Material (RAM) form. <br /> Supplement 1-06.1 by adding the following: <br /> ' Provide product data, when specified, in accordance with 1-05.3(1) SUBMITTALS of <br /> these Special Provisions for inspecting, testing, operating, or maintaining Equipment <br /> and materials supplied as part of the Work. Unless otherwise specified, such data shall <br /> be provided at the time the referenced material or Equipment is delivered to the job site. <br /> Provide data as specified and include, unless otherwise specified, but not be limited to <br /> shop drawings, erection drawings, reinforcing steel schedules, testing and adjusting <br /> ' instructions, operations manuals, maintenance procedures, parts lists, and record <br /> drawings. Provide data as part of the Work under this Contract and its acceptability will <br /> be determined by the City in its sole discretion. <br /> Further supplement 1-06.1 by adding the following: <br /> Watermain Replacement"U" Division 1 —GENERAL REQUIREMENTS October 1, 2019 <br /> ' WO No—UP3698 SP—73 <br />
