20.2.3 Any member who is scheduled to work on a designated holiday and does not work the <br /> designated holiday due to any absence other than on-the-job injury, vacation or <br /> compensatory time off, shall have the sum of 12 hours deducted from his/her paid time <br /> off bank. Anyone who retires or separates from service and has used banked hours in <br /> excess of that number of banked hours which occurred prior to separation, shall have <br /> those hours equal to the excess used deducted from the employee's separation check. <br /> 20.2.4 In addition to the foregoing, the two floating holidays will be available to be taken as paid <br /> time off in the year they are accrued, subject to City concurrence. <br /> 29 <br />
