ARTICLE 22 - COMPENSATORY TIME <br /> 22.1 Accrual. <br /> 22.1.1 An employee, subject to the approval of the Chief of Police or designee, may receive <br /> compensatory time in lieu of overtime pay at the rate of one and one-half(1.5) hours for <br /> each hour worked. The maximum accumulation of compensatory time is eighty (80) <br /> hours. Any time earned above the maximum compensatory time accrual will be paid as <br /> overtime. <br /> 22.2 Cash out. <br /> 22.2.1 During the first pay period of June of each year, employees may cash out all or part of <br /> their accumulated compensatory time. During the first pay period of December of each <br /> year, the employer shall cash out all of the employee's accumulated compensatory time. <br /> 32 <br />
