8 <br /> Update list of countywide planning policies and move to Appendix to the Comprehensive <br /> Plan. <br /> Update policy 4.1.4 to reflect change to CPP HO-1 —"support"fair housing versus <br /> "ensure"fair housing <br /> Address incentives for affordable housing beyond density. <br /> 4. Transportation Element. <br /> Update inventories of state and local facilities. <br /> Describe how the Transportation element is consistent with the land use element and <br /> Transportation 2040. <br /> Update the level of service(LOS) analysis based upon the land use plan update and <br /> future improvements, including LOS for highways of statewide significance (SR 99, SR <br /> 527, and SR 529 only). Include the assumptions used in estimating travel. Update <br /> project lists and costs and identify methods to mitigate the impacts of increased travel, <br /> including a funding strategy. <br /> Note—this is required to include a forecast of travel for at least 10 years. Address uncertainty related to light rail funding. <br /> Add policy to address evaluation of expanding the Regional Transit District. <br /> Add policy or language in IV.A about consulting with transit agencies when planning <br /> future land use in transit emphasis corridors. <br /> Discuss intergovernmental coordination efforts, including an assessment of the impacts <br /> of the transportation plan and land use assumptions on the transportation systems of <br /> adjacent jurisdictions. <br /> Update Objective 5 and policies to address integrated design of transportation facilities in <br /> urban growth centers to encourage transit-oriented land uses and nonmotorized modes of <br /> travel—related to agreements with other jurisdictions. Evaluate to insure it is done in a <br /> manner to not adversely impact traffic safety. <br /> 41) <br />
