Golf fees were the subject <br /> of public review including two general public meetings and a public forum at the December 10, 2013 regular <br /> meeting of the Board of Park Commissioners.Notice of the public forums included advertisements in The <br /> Daily Herald,notification on the City's website and postings at Legion Memorial Golf Course and Walter E. <br /> Hall Golf Course,the Swim Center,Recreation Office and the Forest Park Administration Building Offices. <br /> The Board of Park Commissioners finalized its recommendation in support of the fee modifications at its <br /> December 10, 2013 meeting. <br /> There were a total of eight attendees at the public forums. The golfers in attendance spoke highly of the <br /> quality of the courses. One attendee asked that we consider reducing the proposed 2014 rates. The <br /> attendees also had questions related to costs. Outside of the public forums two golfers contacted the City <br /> via e-mail to express their concerns regarding the rates. <br /> A brief PowerPoint will be presented to review the 2014 rates. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> 1 <br />
