GC/CM Contract <br /> General Contractor/Construction Manager Services for <br /> r. 77 General <br /> Pollution Control Facility Expansion <br /> Phase Cl (Liquid.Stream) <br /> Installed (OECI) equipment. Such coordination of installation <br /> subcontract bid packages shall be part of the Fixed Amount for <br /> Specified General Conditions. <br /> 7.5. Pre-bid Determination of Subcontractor Eligibility. When in the best interest of <br /> the Project and critical to the successful completion of a subcontractor bid <br /> package the Owner and GC/CM may determine Subcontractor eligibility to bid <br /> based on the criteria set forth in RCW 39.10.400. Subcontract bid packages <br /> shall be awarded to the responsible eligible bidder submitting the low <br /> responsive bid. All subcontract bid packages in which subcontractor eligibility <br /> is not utilized shall include specific objective bidder responsibility criteria that <br /> will be used by the GC/CM and Owner in evaluating the responsibility of <br /> bidders. <br /> 7.6. Subcontractor Bid Packages. Consistent with the Subcontract Plan, the <br /> GC/CM may: a.) organize and solicit bids for the subcontract work; b.) use <br /> any allowances except as provided in Section 7.4.3 herein; and c.) use any <br /> alternates in subcontract bid packages when such alternates were specified <br /> in the MACC. <br /> 7.6.1. GC/CM shall submit: a) a draft and final bid package specific scope of <br /> work, and; b) Instructions, Bid Forms, and other components of the bid <br /> package for each subcontract package for Owner's review prior to <br /> bidding. Changes to the final bid package documents shall not occur <br /> without Owner's approval. <br /> 7.6.2. The GC/CM shall assist the Owner to identify and procure late bid <br /> packages that are determined by the Owner to be beneficial in <br /> providing the latest "state of the art" technologies or equipment for the <br /> Project. <br /> 7.7. Cost of Subcontracting Process. As part of the Fixed Amount for Specified <br /> General Conditions work the GC/CM shall be responsible for all costs <br /> associated with the subcontracting process including, but not necessarily <br /> limited to: <br /> 7.7.1. Developing solicitations for subcontract packages. <br /> 7.7.2. Pre-qualification and subcontract procurement. <br /> 7.7.3. Site tours. <br /> 7.7.4.
