The original ordinance provided$60,000 in funding from CII'3. A citizen campaign initiated by Riverside Neighborhood resident Ashley Barquest provided donations in the amount of$3,208.65,and those funds were used for playground equipment replacement and to acquire a new playground amenity. During construction, $60,000 was transferred and made available to fund the completion of the project. The difference between the$60,000 funded by the ordinance and the$50,077.35 expended to complete the project, $9,922.65,will be transferred into CIP 3. RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): Adopt the ordinance closing the special improvement project entitled"Garfield Park Playground",Fund 354, Program 042 as established by Ordinance No. 3331-13. 11
