The Facilities <br /> Department has selected the Rice Group,Inc. from the City's Engineering Short List to provide design <br /> services for replacing/upgrading the garage fire sprinkler piping system. The new system will replace the <br /> existing black iron pipe with galvanized pipe. <br /> Rice.Group Engineering and the Facilities Department have developed a scope of work and negotiated a fee <br /> of$17,900.00 for the professional services. <br /> The total cost of the fire sprinkler replacement is estimated to be$230,000.
