Please review and <br /> respond to the comments below. <br /> General <br /> 1) Rooms 102 and 103 have occupant loads greater than 50. The egress doors serving those <br /> rooms (interior and exterior) should have the following items addressed (regardless of the <br /> actual occupant load attributed to any particular door: <br /> i) Door #106 should swing in the direction of travel from Room 103. Section <br /> 1010.1.2.1 <br /> ii) The door schedule should specifically show each door required to have panic <br /> hardware (if locks or latches are provided). Section 1010.1.10 <br /> 2) Exit signs should be shown on the plans. 1013.1 <br /> 3) Emergency egress lighting should be shown on the plans. Section 1008.3 <br /> 4) The location and nomenclature for the posted maximum occupant load signs in Rooms 102 <br /> & 103 should be shown on the plans. Section 1004.3 <br /> 5) The City has requirements for Kitchen, Type I hood and grease removal requirements. I <br /> have included the handout in the attached email. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br /> Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections <br /> requested. Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. <br /> All codes cited refer to the 2015 International Building Code (IBC), 2015 International Existing <br /> Building Code (IEBC), the 2015 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2015 International Mechanical <br />
