Activities/Project Description <br /> The Subrecipient will be responsible for administering the Learn & Earn a Bike for HopeWorks <br /> program in a manner satisfactory to the City and consistent with any standards required as a <br /> condition of providing these funds. Such program will include the following activities eligible under <br /> the Community Development Block Grant Program: <br /> Program Delivery <br /> Activity: <br /> The Learn & Earn a Bike for HopeWorks will serve 30 people Choose an item.by providing training <br /> and fully-equipped bicycles. <br /> General Administration <br /> [Description of general administrative services to be performed in support of activities noted above] <br /> This program relies on a fully-functioning bike shop, with the tools and space to learn about and work <br /> on bikes. We also provide a selection of donated bikes for participants to learn on and earn. To <br /> provide that, our administrative services include staffing (executive director and shop manager), the <br /> overhead of our shop space (including rent and insurance), and the equipment needed to provide <br /> the program (bikes tools and parts). <br /> In addition, our staff and volunteers will coordinate closely with HopeWorks staff and residents to: <br /> Promote the program to residents <br /> Raise additional funding for program support(ie equipment such as child carriers) <br /> Develop and manage program tracking measures <br />
