The general contractor,Tri-State Construction,completed the 41st St. Extension&Roundabout Project in accordance with the plans and specifications and to the satisfaction of the Public Works Department. Original Contract Amount: $5,865,560.00 Change Orders 1-7: $500,865.06 WA State Sales Tax: $585,711.11 Total Contract Amount: $6,952,136.17 • The contract total paid to date: $6,317,432.78 • The amount of retainage withheld: ($315,871.66) • Washington State Sales tax paid $271,739.69 $6,273,300.81 RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Accept the 41St St. Extension&Roundabout Project as complete and authorize the Mayor to sign the Certificate of Completion with Tri-State Construction allowing the release of the escrow held in the US Bank. 9 7
