Snohomish River at I-5 Bridge.
Project Tasks •
Described below are the anticipated project tasks to be performed by WEST.
Task 1 Data Collection
Task 1.1 Data Collection and Review
WEST will collect and review available historic and existing data and information of the
Snohomish River in the vicinity of the project site. They may include previous hydraulic
and water quality models, stream flow, bed material and suspended sediment samples,
bathymetry, and measurements of discharges, stages, velocities, and sediment
concentration as well as dredging records. A preliminary literature review indicates that
a one-dimensional UNET model of the reach was developed by FEMA for a flood
insurance study(FIS). WEST already has the FIS UNET model.
WEST scope and costs for Outfall 025 Hydrodynamic and Sediment Transport Modeling 3
10/15/2013
34
