The event will be held on June 7,2014,from 7 a.m.to 6 p.m. <br /> The Seattle Outboard Association's Boating Regatta has been annually held on Silver Lake since 1954. The <br /> Board of Park Commissioners held a public hearing at its March 11, 2014 meeting for this year's proposed <br /> regatta. <br /> The City Council has approved the Association's request, on an annual basis,to hold this event on Silver <br /> Lake. This is the only event of this type held at Silver Lake during the year. The Board of Park <br /> Commissioners voted to recommend to Council that the Seattle Outboard Association's application to hold <br /> its annual Boating Regatta on Silver Lake June 7, 2014 be approved. <br /> RECOMMENDATA (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Approve the Seattle Outboard Association's application to hold the 2014 Boating Regatta on Silver Lake on <br /> June 7, 2014. <br /> 45 <br />
