The existing Memorandum of Understanding with the Washington <br /> Traffic Safety Commission sets forth the requirements of the Everett Police Department to participate in the <br /> project and receive the allotted funding. This Amendment provides an additional $2,500.00 in overtime <br /> funding for the purpose of conducting distracted driving HVE patrols during the period of April 10 through <br /> April 15, 2014. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment#1 to the Memorandum of Understanding with the Washington <br /> Traffic Safety Commission regarding participation in distracted driving high visibility enforcement traffic <br /> safety emphasis patrols in the amount of$2,500.00. <br /> 77 <br />
