The duct route should be completed to the exterior wall. Verify that the duct penetration through the exterior wall does not exceed limits for openings per Table 705.8. Verify that the duct will not pass through or significantly reduce the performance of any structural elements. - Please see Sheet A1.1 Ceiling Plan that shows where the duct travels from the ADA restroom over a storage room and out the exterior wall. - Please see the note on the Ceiling Plan on Sheet A1.2 which indicates that the ventilated air will be disbursed over an adjacent parking lot which meets Table 705.8.1 exceptions 1.1.2 and 2. - Please see Sheet A1.2, Section C for the note that reads"The duct is to not pass through or reduce the performance of any structural member" - Please see Sheet A1.2, Section C the note that reads"Wall termination, meets Table 7.05.8.1 exceptions 1.1.2 and 2. 3b. Note 7.47 shall require the fire alarm system to be modified to address the new room. - - See Sheet A1.1 note 7.47 which reads"There is not a fire sprinkler system, the building does have a non-monitored fire sprinkler system which is to be modified to accommodate the remodeling of the existing storage room space and the new ADA restroom. Please let me know if we need to provide anything else.
