• <br /> January 8, 2020 <br /> Council Member Roberts announced that the next General Government <br /> Subcommittee meeting is scheduled for February 19. <br /> President Bader stated that Council Bill 1911-54, regarding supportive housing in <br /> single-family zones, is scheduled for a third and final reading on January 15. <br /> President Bader announced that the Council Retreat is scheduled for February 26 <br /> at 4 p.m. and will be in lieu of the regularly scheduled 12:30 p.m. Council meeting. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Chief of Staff Lyle Ryan had no report. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney David Hall had no comments. • <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> Jean Rittmann, Everett, spoke about a land use issue. <br /> Deb Fox, Everett, spoke in support of naming the new park on Colby Avenue after <br /> Emma Yule. <br /> Council Members Roberts and Stonecipher stated that the parks naming process <br /> has been a discussion during recent General Government Subcommittee <br /> meetings. Due to scheduling conflicts, the committee has not established an <br /> action plan for the parks naming process; however, during those meetings, it was <br /> suggested to first name the new park on Colby Avenue and then revise the parks <br /> naming policy. <br /> Moved by Council Member Vogeli, seconded by Council Member Stonecipher, <br /> to name the new park on Colby Avenue after Emma Yule. <br /> • <br /> 2 <br />
