, <br /> t <br /> Additional information for 3020 Rucker replacement: <br /> Units 1-5 RTU's <br /> Old units weighed 575 lbs <br /> 37 <br /> New units weigh 3 4 lbs(221 lbs each less-removing a total of 1,105 lbs off the roof) <br /> These units are attached with factory engineered clips-Submittal included in package.These clips are <br /> made to work with 3 to 10 ton RTU's-these units are 3 ton.They are attached using submittal <br /> information or better and 4 for each unit. <br /> Units 6-19 Splits to City Multi. <br /> Old units weigh 297 lbs each (13) new units weigh 526Ibs each (X4) <br /> Equipment numbering refers to the 13 splits being replaced. <br /> Each set of units replace between 6 and 7 splits.These units provide simultaneous heat and cooling and <br /> fresh air to 13 heads. Units are mounted on 4X4 pressure treated shoring, secured to the roof structure <br /> (old equipment is not secured)with 318th" bolts-length depending on roofing structure.Shoring is then <br /> capped with galvanized "hats"to provide additional protection and longetivity.The units are replacing <br /> where we are removing 4 compressors-the new units weigh 136 lbs less than what we are removing <br /> from that location.An additional 1,485 lbs are being removed from the roof and not being replaced. <br /> Units 20&21 Gas fired make-up air-replaced with 10 ton Trane Gas heat with A/C and demand <br /> ventilation. VO I <br /> Engineered by the Harris group. New units weigh @ 5,01 lbs more than units being removed and will be <br /> place on PT shoring(per engineering) -additional load is supported by existing roof framing. Units will <br /> be secured to roofing structure with 318th' lag bolts into roofing structure.Old units were designed for <br /> 2,215 CFM of outside air(OSA) each, new units can provide 2,560 CFM of OSA and rather than using the <br /> prescriptive number of 2,215 we are providing controls to provide demand ventilation based on Co2. <br /> The old units were ineffective once the roof exceeded 80 degrees and was turned off-the new system <br /> can provide heating and cooling allowing the system to work all year around. <br /> �f <br />
