Please review and respond to the comments below. Please note that the following correction items in this Correction Notice have been numbered to correspond with the previous correction letter's items. Structural 1. From Sheets A100 and A200, it appears that the proposed stairway involves resupporting the existing floor construction of the level above. The new stairway wall appears to be a bearing wall. Please provide structural calculations that indicate that the new wall and stairway framing, and slab-on-grade can support the existing and proposed loadings per IBC Sec 1604 and 1607. 2. On Sheet A200, new handrails and guardrails are being added to the stairwell. Please provide calculations that satisfy the load requirements for these proposed railings per IBC 1607.8. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved.
