Alex Byrd
From: Alex Byrd
Sent: Wednesday,June 5, 2019 10:18 AM
To: crystalc@heathnorthwest.com
Cc: Sabrina Fandler;Thad Newport; Benyam Stephanos
Subject: S1905-006 -4522 Evergreen Way Sign - Planning Corrections
Attachments: S1905-006 -4522 Evergreen Way.pdf
Good Morning,
Thank you for submitting a sign permit for a new wall sign at 4522 Evergreen Way, permit 51905-006. It appears that a
portion of the existing structure and an existing freestanding sign encroach into the right-of-way(see attached map). In
order for the Planning Department to approve the new wall sign, the existing freestanding sign must be brought into
conformance. Alternatively, you could remove the existing freestanding sign and we could approve the installation of
the wall sign. The plans will need to be revised accordingly.
The last page in the plan set indicates (2) window signs; however, the second page indicates only one reading"state
farm". Please clarify how many window signs are proposed. Per EMC 19.318.090(1), permanent and temporary window
signs are limited to a maximum of twenty-five percent of the window area.
Lastly, because work is proposed in the right-of-way, it is my understanding that a Public Works Permit is
required. Please contact the Public Works Department (copied on this email) regarding submittal requirements for this
permit.
Note: these requirements are only in relation to the land use code and do not account for all possible requirements
from other departments. Please call the Permit Services line at 425.257.8810 if you have additional permitting
questions.
Thanks,
Alexandria Byrd
ElAssistant Planner I Community, Planning& Economic Development
425.257.7281 13200 Cedar Street 2"d Fl., Everett,WA 98201
EVERETT everettwa.gov I Facebook I Twitter
1
