With the <br />addition of Ihe tolbwing ilems, the plans are approved. <br />1. There shall be no direct connections belween the sewerage system and any drains <br />originating Irom equipment in which food fs placed. <br />2. The ventilation system shall be installed and operated to meet applicable building, <br />mechanical and fire codes. <br />3. Ail tood service equipment shall meet ihe requiremenis of the National Sanitation <br />Foundation, N.S.F., or equivalent. <br />4. Walls and ceiling ot the tood preparatan and scullery area shall be light•colored, <br />smooth, nonabsorbent and easily cleanable. <br />5. Provide adequate protective light shields for all lighis in the lood preparation and <br />storage areas. <br />6. The compartments to ihe 3-compaAment sink must be large enough to <br />accommodate the cleaning and sanitizing of all utensils and equipment. <br />If there are any significant changes or additions to your layout or equipment, ihe <br />Snohomish Health Disirid must be notitied. <br />A pre•operational inspection is required prior to opening (or business. Piease contact the <br />Food Program office about one week in advance to schedule an appointment. This will <br />insure compliance with the Rules and Regulations of the State Board of Heatth lur Food <br />Service Sanitation (WAC 248-84). <br />Please contact me if you have any questions.
