6 EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Project Description: <br /> The purpose of this project is to replace the existing exterior concrete and metal stairs between the William E. <br /> Moore Historic City Hall and the Municipal Court building located at 3002 Wetmore Avenue,Everett,WA 98201. <br /> Scope of Work: <br /> 2812 Architecture,Inc.shall provide architectural and structural engineering services as required for the replacement <br /> of the exterior stair between the William E.Moore Historic City Hall and the Municipal Court building. The Work <br /> shall involve preparation of permit,bid specification and construction documents for replacing the exterior stair. A <br /> breakdown of these tasks are as follows: <br /> Achitectural Services: <br /> -Prepare a detailed set of construction documents to support a building permit application. <br /> -Documents will include plans,elevations,and details as required to secure building permits for the stair. <br /> -Building permit coordination as well as responses to comments by the City of Everett during permit process. <br /> -Assist puplic bidding of project. <br /> -Provide specification and drawing packages for bidding of work. <br /> -Assist in answering question,clarifying items and preparing addenda. <br /> -Participate in pre-bid meeting with prospective bidders if necessary. <br /> Construction Services: <br /> -Review shop drawing,submittals,and various proposals. <br /> -Perform construction observation and preparation of a substantial completion punch list. <br /> -Estimate maximum of 10 hours of work during the construction period. <br /> Structural Engineering: <br /> -Structural Engineering services will be provided by Nickerson Engieering to provide structural design for a new <br /> exterior steel framed stair extending from grade to one upper level. <br /> -Provide calculations for the guard rails,treads,stringers,supports,and connections to the existing concrete wall/or <br /> new footings. <br /> -Review and provide comments on drawings as needed and provide sketched structural details for draft drawings. <br /> -Provide signed and stamped structural calculations for permit submittal. <br /> -All design work will be in accordance with the 2012 International Building Code. <br /> A breakdown of compensation are as follows: <br /> Additional Services:Additional Services that may be needed based upon any issues that surface during the <br /> development of the design and construction documents as approved only in writing and signed by an authorized City <br /> representative.($1,200.00) <br /> COMPENSATION <br /> Architectural Services $2,600.00 <br /> Construction Administration $1,300.00 <br /> Structural Engineering Services $1,200.00 <br /> Additional Services $1,200.00 <br /> TOTAL $6,300.00 <br /> Page 11 <br /> (Form.Approved by City Attorney's Office January 7,2010,updated June 15,2014) <br /> 106 <br />
