TEMPORARY EROSION SEDIMENT CONTROL (TESC) NOTES: GENERAL NOTES: <br /> 1. THE IMPLEMENTATION, CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE, REPLACEMENT AND UPGRADING 1. TREES WERE LOCATED BY FIELD MEASURE AND SHOULD BE CONSIDERED APPROXIMATE. <br /> OF THESE TESC FACILITIES IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE APPUCANT/CONTRACTOR <br /> UNTIL ALL CONSTRUCTION IS APPROVED. 2. ALL CONSTRUCTION DEWATERING STORMWATER SHALL BE COLLECTED AND SETTLED IN A <br /> PORTABLE TANK OR SIMILAR SETTLING DEVICE BEFORE DISCHARGING TO ON—SITE <br /> 2. CONSTRUCT THE TESC FACILITIES IN CONJUNCTION WITH ALL CLEARING AND GRADING STORMWATER FACILITY. <br /> ACTIVITIES, AND IN SUCH A MANNER AS TO INSURE THAT SEDIMENT LADEN WATER <br /> DOES NOT LEAVE THE SITE, ENTER THE DRAINAGE SYSTEM OR VIOLATE APPLICABLE 3. ALL STORMWATER TRENCH DRAINS AND CATCH BASINS SHALL BE CLEANED AFTER ALL <br /> WATER STANDARDS, CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETE. <br /> 3. THE TESC FACILITIES SHOWN ON THIS PLAN ARE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR 4. STORMFILTER WATER QUALITY FACILITY SHALL BE CLEANED AND ALL FILTERS CHANGED <br /> ANTICIPATED SITE CONDITIONS. UPGRADE THESE TESC FACILITIES DURING (APPROX 93 FILTERS) AFTER ALL CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETE (PHASE 3 IT�M). <br /> CONSTRUCTION AS NEEDED TO MATCH CHANGING SITE CONDITIONS AND LARGER THAN <br /> ANTICIPATED STORM EVENTS. 5. FOR STORM DRAINAGE REMOVALS AND MODIFICATIONS, SEE STORM DRAINAGE PLAN AND <br /> PROFILE SHEETS. <br /> 4. INSPECT CATCH BASINS DAILY. CLEAN CATCH BASIN INSERTS REGULARLY AND <br /> IMPLEMENT EXTRA SEDIMENTATION CONTROL METHODS IF NECESSARY. <br /> 5. ROUTINELY INSPECT AND MAINTAIN ALL INSTALLED EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL <br /> BMPS, ESPECIALLY AFTER STORMS. <br /> 6. DO NOT TRACK SEDIMENT ONTO PAVED STREETS OR ROADWAYS. REMOVE SEDIMENT <br /> FROM TRUCKS AND EQUIPMENTS PRIOR TO LEAVING THE CONSTRUCTION SITE. IN THE <br /> EVENT OF FAILURE OF THE TESC SYSTEM RESULTING IN SEDIMENT TRACKING ONTO <br /> PAVEMENT, IMPLEMENT MEASURES IMMEDIATELY TO CORRECT THE SITUATION. <br /> 7. SEDIMENT THAT HAS BEEN TRACKED ONTO STREETS SHALL BE REMOVED BY <br /> SHOVELING AND SWEEPING AND CAREFULLY REMOVING TO A SUITABLE DISPOSAL <br /> AREA WHERE IT WILL NOT BE RE—ERODED. ADDITIONAL STREET CLEANING MAY BE <br /> REQUIRED AS DIRECTED BY THE CITY PUBLIC WORKS INSPECTOR. THE USE OF <br /> VACUUM SWEEPERS IS ENCOURAGED. SEDIMENT TRACKED ONTO PAVED SURFACES <br /> SHALL NOT BE WASHED INTO STORM DRAINS OR OTHER UTILITY INLETS. <br /> 8. AREAS STRIPPED OF VEGETATION SHALL BE STABILIZED WITHIN 7 DAYS BETWEEN <br /> MAY 1ST AND SEPTEMBER 30TH, AND WITHIN 2 DAYS BETWEEN OCTOBER 1ST AND <br /> APRIL 30TH. STABILIZE WITH APPROVED TESC METHODS SUCH AS SODDING, SEEDING, <br /> MULCHING WITH TWO TONS OF STRAW PER ACRE OR APPROVED EQUAL, PLASTIC, <br /> NETTING, EROSION BLANKETS, ETC. <br /> 9. UPON FINAL COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT, REMOVE ALL TESC MEASURES. TAKE <br /> CARE TO AVOID SEDIMENT FROM ENTERING THE DRAINAGE SYSTEM DURING THE <br /> REMOVAL PROCESS. <br /> 10. ALL DEWATERING DISCHARGE SHALL BE FILTERED WITH APPROPRIATE SEDIMENT <br /> REMOVAL FILTER BEFORE BEING DISCHARGED TO SITE STORMWATER FACILITIES IN <br /> ADJACENT AREAS. <br /> 11.
