Parts are no longer available. Due to this, we are planning to decommission the
elevator.
As part of the decommissioning we are proposing to utilize only the main floor of the building for staff.
The upper two floors as well as the basement will only be used for personal storage by the building
owners (Imagine Children's Museum). Signs will be provided at each stair on these floors stating:
"storage use only".
For the elevator to be decommissioned, the Department of Labor and industries needs a letter or e-mail
from you giving them approval to do the decommissioning work.
Our contact with L & I is:
Shanelle Vekich
Customer Service Specialist 2, FSPS
Elevator Program
Department of Labor& Industries
360-902-6128 I Shanelle.VekichLni.wa.gov
If you choose to communicate directly with Shanelle I would ask that you cc me on the correspondence
so that I can share it with the building owner. Please let me know if you have questions or need
additional information.
Sincerely,
41/Plar3.'":41PP
Adam B.
