NORTH MIDDLE SCHOOL <br /> I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> This report documents the proposed stormwater and drainage design approach for the North Middle School <br /> Modernization project in Everett,Washington. The report has been prepared using the guidelines set forth in the <br /> City of Everett Stormwater Management Manual (COESWMM)dated February 2010 by the City of Everett(COE) <br /> Surface Water Management. <br /> The site is located at 2514 Rainier Ave, Everett,WA 98201 and is bounded by 24th St to the north, Rainier Ave to <br /> the east,26th St to the south, and an alley to the west. The 9.0-acre existing site contains North Middle School <br /> with associated parking and landscaping as well as the existing Bagshaw Field to the north. See Figure 1 for a <br /> Vicinity Map showing the project location. <br /> The site currently consists of two classroom buildings,a gymnasium, a large athletic field to the north,and tennis <br /> courts to the south. This portion of the project will consist of the installation of ten temporary portables in the north <br /> athletic field. A temporary asphalt treated base (ATB)access path will also be installed. A raised metal walkway <br /> with grating surface will be installed to connect the portables. The grating surface is considered a pervious <br /> surface. <br /> This portion of the project will be required to provide flow control in the event that the temporary portables remain <br /> on site longer than what is described and permitted. This project is also required to comply with on-site <br /> stormwater management. This will be discussed further in Section II. <br /> This is a subsequent phase of the entire North Middle School Modernization project and will be proceeded by the <br /> Main Phase of the project. <br /> COUGHLINPORTERLUNDEEN <br /> ,,RU_7 UPAt.
