• <br /> March 18, 2020 <br /> The City Clerk administered the oath of office, and Mayor Franklin presented the <br /> new police officer with her badge. <br /> Mayor Franklin provided an update on work being done by the City in response to <br /> COVID-19. She announced that due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic crisis and <br /> the effect it is taking on the City budget, along with the ongoing structural deficit, <br /> the City needs to take emergency action to reduce costs and the City's great <br /> expense in the General Fund is labor and benefits.
