Cityof Evere <br /> ft 001113 - 1 <br /> 2020 Biosolids Removal UT3705-11 <br /> SECTION 00 1113 -ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> I <br /> Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the 2020 BIOSOLIDS REMOVAL will be <br /> ' received at the office of the City Clerk, 1st Floor Wall Street Building, 2930 Wetmore, <br /> Everett, Washington 98201, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10th, 2019. At the <br /> appointed time, all bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in an assigned conference <br /> room on the 8th floor of the Wall Street Building. The engineer's estimate for this Project <br /> is $900,000.00 <br /> The City of Everett owns a Water Pollution Control Facilitylocated near Everett WA <br /> and <br /> is seeking a Contractor to dredge, dewater and place for storage approximately 2,000 dry <br /> ' tons of biosolids from the City's Recirculation Channel. The recirculation channel is a 60 <br /> ft wide (at the surface) channel that begins at the midpoint of the southern end of the <br /> oxidation ponds and stretches along the South and West side of the pond. The channel <br /> is bound by a natural slope on one side and a concrete wall on the other. The horizontal <br /> distance from the wall to the toe of the submerged slope is approximately 28 ft. The solids <br /> removed from this channel will be placed on the City's Biosolids pad for future use. The <br /> ' Water Pollution Control Facility is located at 4027 4th Street Southeast, Everett WA. <br /> Contractor is expected to conduct his/her operations and manage the dewatered biosolids <br /> on the City's Biosolids pad. <br /> Pre-bid walk-throughs are scheduled at 10:00 a.m., February 26th, 2019 and at 1:00p.m., <br /> ' March 4th, 2019 on site at 4027 4th Street Southeast, Everett, WA. Pre-bid meetings are <br /> mandatory and all interested bidders must attend. Any questions and/or answers that may <br /> ' affect the bid will be included in an addendum to the bid documents and sent to all the <br /> plan holders. <br /> ' Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and <br /> Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to <br /> www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "City of <br /> Everett". This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with <br /> the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous <br /> ' reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that <br /> Bidders "Register" in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and <br /> to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register <br /> will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on- <br /> line plan room for addenda issued on this project.
