Section Includes: Procedures to maintain security including unauthorized entry, <br /> vandalism, and theft to buildings and grounds at Project site. <br /> ' B. Related Sections: <br /> 1. Section 01 3119 - Project Meetings <br /> 2. Section 01 5000 - Temporary Facilities and Controls <br /> 1.2 SECURITY PROGRAM <br /> A. Discuss with City, at Preconstruction Meeting specified Section 01 3119, a <br /> security program to prevent unauthorized entry and to protect against other <br /> security problems, including loss due to theft, vandalism, and fire. <br /> ' B. Arrange with City for access through locked gates as necessary to perform <br /> Work of this Contract. <br /> ' 1. Contractor is responsible for supplying a keyed padlock to secure the gate <br /> at the Aeration Cells. Contractor will coordinate with City to place lock in <br /> the daisy chain securing this gate. <br /> ' 2. Contractor will be supplied the current combination to the lock securing <br /> the gate opposite the biosolids processing pad. <br /> ' C. Establish adequate flood lighting to allow monitoring of Project site during <br /> evening hours. Contractor is responsible to position lighting to avoid glare <br /> shining towards residential areas surrounding the WPCF. <br /> I <br /> 1.3 STORAGE AND PROTECTION <br /> A. Provide for secure lockup of stored materials and take additional measures to <br /> protect against theft vandalism, and other loss of property belonging to City <br /> located on site and at off-site facilities. <br /> ' 1.4 ENTRY CONTROL <br /> A. Restrict entrance of unauthorized persons and vehicles into construction areas. <br /> ' B. Maintain security of construction fencing and gates as approved by City in <br /> advance.
