City of Everett 00 2513 - 1 <br /> 2020 Biosolids Removal UT3705-11 <br /> SECTION 00 2513 - PRE-BID MEETING <br /> 1 <br /> 1.1 SUMMARY <br /> ' A. The pre-bid meeting is mandatory for all prospective bidders. At this meeting the <br /> items on the Agenda will be covered (see 1.5 AGENDA). The meeting will include <br /> a site walk and review of City's testing to date showing biosolids quality. <br /> B. During the meeting, the City will make the oxidation pond and recirculation <br /> channel available for biosolids sampling by prospective bidders through the use <br /> of the City's barge. The Barge will be manned and operated by City staff. All <br /> personnel embarked on vessels within the treatment ponds must provide and <br /> ' wear a US Coast Guard approved Commercial PFD. <br /> C. The City can also assist the bidders with equipment for performing jar tests on <br /> ' dewatering chemicals. Bidders are strongly encouraged to test their dewatering <br /> chemicals on Everett's biosolids. <br /> 1.2 DATE <br /> ' A. Meeting 1 - February 26th , 2019 <br /> B. Meeting 2 - March 4th, 2019 <br /> 1.3 LOCATION <br /> 111 A. The meeting place will be at the site: 4027 4th Street SE, Everett WA. <br /> 1.4 TIME <br /> A.
