All collected runoff <br />.nb shall be routed through a spill containment vault with a 50 <br />,p t Girl- gallon (minimum) li.ve capacity prior to discharge to the <br />sanitary sewer. <br />ri <br />nla� <br />An isolation valve shall be installed in the outlet piping <br />from the spill containment vault. whenever site <br />configuration allows, the valve control shall be an above- <br />. ground hand -wheel. If only a below -ground valve control is <br />feasible, the valve shall still be hand -operable and the lid <br />of the valve control box shall be brightly colored to allow <br />r+ for easy identification. Signs '-ndicating the location and <br />purpose of the valve shall be posted at the fueling islands <br />and at the attendant's station. <br />The vault lid shall be designed to vent vapors to the <br />atmosphere &nd shall be constructed of'- non -sparking <br />material. The pavement around the vault lid shall be graded <br />or herwed to prevent the run-on of stormwater from adjacent <br />areas. `/ Z 1 <br />
