The sign is part of the hotel renovation project at 3105 <br /> Pine Street. A Temporary Certificate-of-Occupancy (TCO) was issued for the hotel on June 19, <br /> 2018; the TCO expired on September 19, 2018. The hotel is currently operating without a <br /> Certificate of Occupancy (CO) and is therefore in violation of the building code. Please see <br /> Everett Municipal Code Section 16.005.030, and International Building Code (IBC) Sections <br /> 111.1, 111.3, and 111.4. <br /> The sign building permit must be finalized before the CO for the hotel can be issued. A final <br /> report shall be submitted to the City of Everett verifying that the sign installation complies with <br /> the approved construction drawings issued on October 5, 2018. Please note that this permit <br /> expires on May 28, 2019. The report shall include the following: <br /> A. A written statement from the contractor or special inspector verifying that the work has <br /> been performed per the approved construction drawings, including post-permit changes. <br /> B. Special inspection reports verifying the work. Where work has not been verified by the <br /> special inspector, photo-documentation verifying the work shall be submitted. Photo- <br /> documentation shall include all work not reviewed by the special inspector. <br /> C. Documentation of all after-permit changes.
