These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments such as Utilities, Planning or Fire. All references refer to the 2015 International Building Code (IBC), 2015 International Residential Code (IRC), as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code (WSEC) 2015 Edition, as adopted by the City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. Construction documents shall be of sufficient clarity to indicate the location, nature and extent of the work proposed and show in detail that it will conform to the provisions of the building code and relevant laws, ordinances, rules and regulations. 1. The scope of work is not defined in the construction drawings. The drawings need to be a "stand alone"document that someone could take to the job and do everything that needs to be done from the information in the drawings including, but not limited to; a. insulation at floor, walls and ceiling, location, type and R-Value b. drywall thickness, attachment and location c. size (CFM), and location of source specific ventilation, including laundry, size of range hood. d. locate smoke alarms on plans. Note that smoke alarms shall be 110 volt, hard wired and interconnected. e. If applicable, provide carbon monoxide alarm and location.
